Booking terms

These terms apply when you book a villa through Zante Sunny Villas. Please read them before you book: when you tick the box at checkout, you agree to them.

Who you are booking with

Zante Sunny Villas is a booking website. Each villa is let by its owner (the host), who is named on the villa's page and in your booking confirmation. When you book, your contract for the stay is with the host. Zante Sunny Villas takes the booking and payment on the host's behalf.

Your booking

Your booking is confirmed when your payment goes through and we email your confirmation. Please check the dates, guest numbers and price in the confirmation, and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.

The person who books must be at least 18 and must stay at the villa. The number of guests staying overnight may not be more than the maximum shown on the villa page, and visitors may not stay overnight without the host's agreement.

Price and payment

The price shown when you book is the full price for your stay, including the cleaning fee. You pay it in full by card when you book. Payments are handled securely by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.

Climate resilience fee

The Greek state charges a climate resilience fee for every night of a stay in holiday accommodation. It is charged per villa per night, not per guest, and the amount depends on the villa's official category and size and on the season (April to October, or November to March).

The fee is not included in the price you pay online. It is shown separately when you book and in your booking confirmation, and you pay it to the host at the villa, in euros. The host gives you a receipt. It is only due for nights you actually stay, so if your booking is cancelled, there is nothing to pay.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel, message the host as soon as possible. The cancellation policy shown when you booked, and in your confirmation, applies.

The 14-day right to cancel that applies to many online purchases does not apply to holiday accommodation booked for specific dates.

If the host has to cancel your booking, for example because the villa can no longer be used, you will get a full refund of everything you paid.

During your stay

Check-in and check-out times are shown on the villa page and in your confirmation. Please look after the villa and its contents, follow the house rules the host gives you, and respect the neighbours. You are responsible for any damage caused by your group, beyond normal wear and tear.

If something isn't right during your stay, tell the host straight away so they have the chance to fix it.

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical costs and personal belongings.

Liability

The host is responsible for providing the villa as described. Nothing in these terms limits anyone's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, neither the host nor Zante Sunny Villas is responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen, or for events outside their reasonable control.

Message the host from your booking confirmation, or contact us at hello@example.com. We will try to resolve any problem quickly and fairly.

Law

These terms are governed by Greek law, because the villas are in Greece. If you live elsewhere in the EU or in the UK, you also keep the protection of the consumer laws of the country where you live.
